On Project Management...
- choose the right people for the team
- estimate the time required to complete tasks accurately
- evaluate overall performance after the 1st iteration
- create your own template/process on how projects are delivered
- run your project as if you were funding it with your own money (claim ownership)
- choose the job that helps squeeze out some experience
- seek opportunities and people that can influence you and promote you
- find an environment that will help you find out what you want to do
- contact professors and try to participate in their projects
- never be idle
- constantly seek opportunities to promote myself
- "if you don't ask, you won't get it"
- Service Oriented Architecture (TOGAF, ITIL, DODAF / MODAF)
- Enterprise Architecture
- Blue Ocean Theory (and other management theories)
- RUP (Rational Unified Process)
